Caribbean Elite Soccer Ltd (CES) is a vibrant and dynamic sports company founded to promote elite soccer in the Caribbean region. CES organises high-quality soccer events, including tournaments and showcases, to highlight the talent of elite players and facilitate their recruitment into global soccer clubs. With a commitment to professionalism and excellence, CES seeks to become the premier platform for showcasing Caribbean soccer talent on the world stage.

CES has an exclusive partnership with Miami Dade FC to identify talented football players from the Caribbean region and assist them on various professional or academic pathways.

Board of Directors

CES was founded by Virgil Seymour and Paul Byles, two of the Cayman Islands most successful youth football coaches who are also the Board of Directors at CES. These directors have recruited highly qualified professional full time coaches to deliver the CES football program.

Virgil Seymour

Long serving youth coach who has been instrumental in developing youth football in the Cayman Islands since 2008. Virgil earned his CONCACAF ‘D’ License in 2012 and is currently Technical Director of Academy Sports Club. He has experience coaching all age groups and has coached at many international tournaments including the Dallas Cup, Disney Youth Cup and USA Cup in Minnesota over the past 10 years.

He was the Head Coach of the Cayman Islands U15 team in 2015 and is a former Cayman Islands national team and club player. He has also played competitively in Canada where he also coached a school team. In 2018 he was recognised with a Heroes Day award for his contribution to sports in the Cayman Islands.

Paul Byles

A youth and senior mens team coach for the past 14 years at Academy Sports Club. His experience includes serving as Head of Youth Development and overseeing youth football programs. He received a COERVER youth coaching Diploma in 2012 and earned the CONCACAF ‘D’ coaches license in 2013.

Paul served as an assistant U15 National Team coach for the Cayman Islands in 2015 and has also served as assistant Coach and Team Manager for the U20 Men’s National Team in the CONCACAF U20 Mens’ Championships in 2020. Paul has coached various teams overseas over the past 9 years at the Disney International Youth Cup in Orlando, the USA Cup in Minnesota and the Miami Cup. He is Head Coach of the Academy Sports Club Men’s Premier League team which won back to back FA Cups in the Cayman Islands Premier League in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, he was also Head coach of the Academy Sports Club team that became U19 Gold Champions at the 2024 USA Cup. In 2018, he was recognised with a Heroes Day award for his contribution to sports in the Cayman Islands.
